About
Born in Perú in 1989, I was raised between Sweden and Spain. Now based in Barcelona, I’ve found in this city the vibrancy my creativity thrives on.
I find that the early travels and growing up between different cultures have planted a seed that has turned me into the curious person I am today.
Things we can chat about
User-centered execution. Ideas only matter if they truly solve user needs. I focus on grounding solutions in research and translating insights into real, usable products.
Research and iteration. Design is never done. Staying close to users through testing and feedback ensures continuous learning, smarter decisions, and better outcomes.
Design through storytelling. Narrative is how I connect people to ideas. I use it to align teams, communicate research findings, and craft experiences that resonate.
Passion for impact. What drives me is creating meaningful, human-centered products.
Integrating diverse perspectives is pivotal to innovation and success. During my time at Glovo, I co-chaired the Women@Glovo employee resource group, leading initiatives to foster an inclusive workplace culture.
I've organized and hosted several Women in Tech events in Barcelona, and more recently I've been guiding aspiring designers as a UX mentor at Female Shakers.
Relocating to Gothenburg at age 5, Swedish became my second language and Sweden a significant part of my identity. The Scandinavian principles of simplicity and functionality run deep in how I think about design.
Music is a catalyst for my creativity, so I've made it my mission to curate playlists that carry me through the design process. My go-to is this one.
To counteract imposed perfectionism and fuel my creative process, I take on art and craft projects. My favourite so far is carpentry. I share the journey on Instagram at @callahan.wip, exploring vulnerability and continuous learning.
